Security and humans
About The Event
We are pleased to announce our next event “Security and humans”- where Tom Hofmann, CISO & Data Protection Officer at Eniwa AG will share with us how to tame this wicked problem.
Digitalisation is already ubiquitous, the possibilities seem endless, and so are the perils for the people. It is important to explore and combine cyber-security with innovation and social sciences, attracted by the complex relationship of people and technology. We need to collaborate with people, enabling them to participate in a truly human-centred design, developing emergent solutions. This will help foster experimentation and better understand the people for whom cyber security is designed for. To achieve this, we need to provide people with the opportunity to try something new, who are curious and willing to collaborate.
Tom Hofmann will discuss human-centered security, how this concept is different from the traditional model of security and how to tame this wicked problem. Tom will explain further why empathy is the core skill needed to enable the transition to human-centered security.
Tom Hofmann has over 20 years of security expertise, from projects all around the globe, with scientific knowledge and principles, to support people and organisations towards an innovative cyber-security. Tom is consulting international organisations on strategic, operational and tactical levels.
