It’s for professionals who have to secure, govern, and defend AI systems in regulated industries — cyber security practitioners and engineers, DevSecOps experts, and AI and ML engineers. It’s an expert-level program, so it’s the right fit if you already work with AI or security systems and want end-to-end mastery across the whole lifecycle.

We assume you’re already fluent with Linux, Python, networks, cloud, and basic ML workflows. You don’t need to be an expert in every area — the program builds on a shared foundation in AI systems security — but you should be comfortable working hands-on in a technical environment. The next cohort starts on 13 January 2027, and the program runs for 12 months.

Each module runs over six weeks and includes 24 hours of live, instructor-led sessions plus 24 hours of self-paced work — roughly eight hours a week while a module is active. You move through the modules in sequence across the 12 months.

Yes, it’s delivered online and led by instructors in live classes. We record every session, so if you can’t make one live, you can watch it anytime, anywhere and keep pace with your cohort.

Our approach is practice-driven and learner-centered. You’ll spend most of your time in live workshops, hands-on labs in your own private virtual machine and AI lab, group projects, and real-world case studies — learning by doing rather than by lecture.

The program follows the AI security lifecycle. After a shared foundation in AI systems security, you’ll work through six expert modules: governance and risk management, secure architecture and development, red-teaming and adversarial defense, security engineering and operations, forensics and incident response, and lifecycle and supply-chain controls.

Each module ends in a capstone you have to complete to earn the diploma. The capstones are deliberately different — from a board-brief simulation and a secure-pipeline build to an LLM red-teaming challenge and a court-quality breach dossier — so you graduate with evidence across the full range of skills.

You earn the Executive Master in AI Security diploma from the Swiss Cyber Institute. Each module also carries its own standalone certificate, so you build recognized credentials as you progress.
